Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What owners, general contractors, subcontractors and job seekers ask us most. Anything not covered here — call (972) 685-5477.

What does Estrada Concrete Company do?

Estrada Concrete Company LLC is a self-performing heavy civil contractor based in Hutchins, Texas. We build full street and alley reconstruction, concrete paving, and water, wastewater and storm-drainage utility systems for municipalities and owners across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Does Estrada self-perform the work or subcontract it?

We self-perform our core scopes with our own crews and equipment — excavation, deep utilities, concrete structures and paving. That gives owners single-source schedule control and one point of accountability instead of a chain of subcontractors.

What areas does Estrada Concrete serve?

We serve the entire Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Garland, Mesquite, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Denton, Grand Prairie, Carrollton, Terrell, Lancaster and Hutchins.

What types of projects does Estrada take on?

Municipal street and alley reconstruction, concrete paving, water mains and services, sanitary sewer, storm drainage including RCP and RCB, cast-in-place structures such as manholes, inlets and headwalls, and site preparation and grading. We have delivered more than $100 million of municipal reconstruction and utility work, including individual contracts exceeding $22 million.

Is Estrada Concrete licensed, insured and bonded?

Yes. Estrada Concrete Company LLC is licensed and insured in the State of Texas and carries general liability, auto and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance, coverage limits, EMR and bonding capacity are furnished on request with any prequalification submittal.

Does Estrada supply its own concrete?

Yes. Ready-mix concrete is supplied through our affiliate plant, Estrada Ready Mix Concrete, in Hutchins, Texas. Owning the supply chain gives us control over mix design, delivery timing and pour schedules.

How do I request a bid or a prequalification package?

Email bids@estradaconcrete.com or call (972) 685-5477. Send drawings and bid documents and we will return a clear, line-item bid. Prequalification and qualification packages are returned the same day they are requested.

Does Estrada work with subcontractors and suppliers?

Yes. We buy out supporting scopes including trucking, striping, traffic control, SWPPP, landscaping, electrical and fencing, and we purchase ready-mix, aggregates, pipe, precast, rebar and equipment rental. Subcontractors and vendors can introduce their company by emailing bids@estradaconcrete.com.
